When Daikin Industries, Ltd. acquired Goodman Global Group, Inc. in 2012, the Goodman® brand secured global support to ensure that the latest technology, manufacturing processes and testing were applied to their HVAC products. Beyond that support, the Daikin and Goodman organizations needed to ensure that the language differences between the companies did not hinder the success of either company. Luckily for Goodman, Eddie Arai was willing to bring his extensive business knowledge and Japanese/English language skills to the United States as an interpreter for the company’s CEO.
Eddie was recently selected to lead Goodman’s new Interpretation Department that was established July 1, 2017.
