Rated 5 out of 5 by from 96 % efficency it has only been 3 weeks since it was installed but already we are thrilled with our new furnace its quieter puts out more warmth doesn`t stay on as long for each cycle. our old furnace dated form the late 70`s / early 80`s and was only about 80 to 85 % effcient the unit was much larger it was loud and never seem to shut off, it was so expensive to use with propane usally took about 3 fills, hopefully our new furnace will only require 1 fill possibly a second we also purchased a heat pump to add on and that is working very well with the furnace. they are saying another cold winter, hopefully this year we will be warm and not totally broke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brand New.... already impressed! Our heating dealer recommended this furnace, rather than an expensive repair to our existing furnace. I was not familiar with the Goodman brand, but after some research and trust in our dealer, decided to go with the MSS960603BN model, which by the way, had a great price point... :) Installation by our dealer was impressively quick. The unit has a simple elegance in its appearance and a small footprint. We immediately noticed a vast improvement in the airflow and heating. The unit is VERY quiet with no "squeaks", "ticking"... just a quiet hum. The easy, exterior access to the filter is a nice bonus feature. Looking forward to seeing a lower gas bill, as well... :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Initial Installation (11/2014) The installation was done by an experienced, licensed contractor who has done work for me in the past. The install was very professional. However the ducting has a flow damper installed, I have an evaporator cooler, and it now clangs when the furnace blower shuts off. The contractor has been notified and I am sure it will be corrected. This is unrelated to the furnace itself. So far the furnace quickly heats the house (1500 sq/ft) and keeps the house at an even temperature. The noise level is acceptable but not much different than my 30 year old furnace. If this rating can be updated I will do so sometime in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We purchased a Goodman , on January 8,2015. What a nice cold weather day to be without heat. But, we phoned Knight and had one hour service to find the problem and get a new furnace ordered right away. Jordan our technician put in a 11 hour day to remove the old and install the new furnace ; he had heat in our home by 8pm the first night. Then he returned the next day to finish the job. He was very well spoken and answered every question that my wife asked. He never once tried to hid anything from my wife, he even found a few problems with some of our existing plumbing and repaired them also. Thanks Jordan I would recommend Knight to anyone who has a furnace problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works well once I went thru a lot of hassle Unit arrived with door ajar (not caused by shipper) thus door switch would not close so had to adjust it. Main blower was not even screwed down to housing and lose in cabinet…Had to disconnect all wiring in order to install it correctly. Condensate drain lines not installed properly and weren't even graded down so blower housing filled up with water opening pressure switch contacts Not too impressed with the factory and how they put things together. My unit did not require me to tamper with condensate lines…but they were installed wrong which caused me problems on start up and wasted time and hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from furnace says its 96.5 high efficiency! will have to agree with this statement. we bought house from parents estate. moved into house first time at age 1. grow up here and at age 59 moved back to the old homestead where I was raised. the furnace that was in at time was 18 years old and 85% efficient. this new furnace which we got just when the cold spell and wind hit 20 degrees has worked great runs half the time and keeps the back bedrooms warmer would like to thank the tech Rich for all his help in servicing the old furnace for my father for many years and keeping it working until now. and installing the new one. IT WORKS GREAT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent furnace We recently upgraded from a low efficient furnace which seemed to constantly have to run to keep the house warmed. A very knowledgeable friend recommended this furnace and we couldnt be happier. We have noticed a significant difference with the temperature in our home. Also this furnace is very quiet and is able to maintain desired temperature without the need to keep turning on. We've also noticed a nice decrease in our heating bill due to the high deficiency of this furnace. Overall we are very pleased! I would definitely recommend this furnace to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Replacement.... The Goodman furnace recently installed in my home was to replace a 2 year old furnace that apparently was not appropriate for the ducting in my home. Only 3 days in with the Goodman replacement and I'm very impressed. The Goodman furnace performs a lot better than even the prior "new" furnace I had. I noticed right away better warm air dispersion throughout the house, a much quieter operation and a warranty that will definitely outlive me! A great product that I'm already recommending to anyone I talk to (same goes for my dealer!).
