Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goodman Heating Furnace I had to replace the furnace in my condo on 11/22/14 because it was original to the house - almost 20 years old! The limits were bad, along with so many other parts, it was cheaper to replace the whole thing. This unit has been purring like a kitten ever since! Love the unit, it is very quiet, it's a condo so it's not a massive furnace, but boy does it deliver the heat without having to crank it up to 90 degrees. I would recommend this product and brand every day of the week and twice on Sundays! Thank you for such a great furnace!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Heats well, but VERY NOISY after 3 weeks of instal Heats well, but after just 3 weeks of being installed, it started to make a lot of noise, as if the fan has suddenly become much noisier than it was before. This is in a brand new house, everything is brand new. House was built and construction finished just 1 or 2 weeks before we moved in. We are the first occupying the house. All furnace filters are new (3 weeks old). There is no reason why the furnace has become so noisy so quickly. BTW, an 80% efficiency in a gas heating unit is probably at the low end as of today (Nov. 2014)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from more efficient I bought this right as the cold weather was about to start in Houston. I was told that the old100k BTU unit could be replaced with an 80k BTU due to it's substantial efficiency over the old unit. I was told that this furnace also has stainless steel in the area where the gas burns to warm the air. The old unit had steel which had rusted and eventually rotted a hole. Holes will let carbon monoxide into the air stream that is coming out of your vents and you breathe. I am pleased so far for what little cold we have in Houston.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Furnace at a Fantastic Price! We are so happy we went with the Goodman Unit. After speaking with 4 HVAC contractors and checking online customer reviews, it was a no brainier to go with the Goodman Furnace. 2 of the HVAC Contractors told me that out of 10 service calls, they might have only one Goodman to fix, majority are Carrier or Lennox products. Also the Goodman Furnace was about 30 to 40% cheaper than the other brand name furnaces. When the time comes to change out the Air Conditioning Unit, in our split system, it will be a Goodman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value for your Money! I just recently purchased a gas furnace for one of my rent houses. This is the second Goodman purchase I have made in the last six months. I, earlier, purchased a new air conditioner unit for my real estate office. I have recommended Air Plus (the local Goodman dealer/serviceman) to several home owners who are also well pleased. I own several rental homes and do a lot of heat and air business. I know that the product is a great value and highly recommend Goodman heat and air products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD PRODUCT I trusted my contractor to select the furnace for our home, being that I know nothing about what's really needed in a furnace other than it needs to perform efficiently, saving energy and keep the house warm. I do know that this furnace fitted underneath my house better than the one removed. Had to literally dismantle the old to replace with the new one, which fitted beneath the ducts better. Never had this brand before, thus far is good. Goodman is a fitting name:-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I am so pleased with the furnace, it does a great job of keeping the house at a steady temperature. It warms up fast if we have to turn up the thermostat a little higher to take the chill off. We have had some pretty cold days and the temperature setting we have was high enough. Bryan of Universal Air has a great crew who put in the furnace. Very professional. Love the fact that the air is purified since I have allergies. Thank you for such a good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I just recently purchased my Goodman gas furnace. It was an unexpected purchase. After reviewing pricing information, online ratings, reviews and opinions of other purchasers I decided to have my furnace installer purchase the Goodman furnace for my home. I am extremely glad I chose this furnace. Immediately after having my furnace installed I could tell the difference between it and the model I previously had. The furnace is very quiet, the house heated faster and it doesn't run as long as the other furnace did. I think this is the best choice if you are looking for efficiency, good performance and a great value. Goodman also has great warranty coverage on their furnaces. I bought a 120,000 BTU furnace and the warranty is lifetime on certain things like the heat exchanger, which just happened to be the problem with my previous furnace.
